Our Mission at Upstate Childbirth:
- to provide evidence-based information about pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and breastfeeding through consultation and Real Life Birth™ classes.
- to provide emotional, physical, and mental support to women experiencing pregnancy, birth, and early parenting through consultation, prenatal visits, labor and birth assistance (doula services) and postpartum care.
- to provide healthy baby care products that promote attachment and breastfeeding. Our products are fairly traded and gentle on the earth.
- Because our mission is to care for mothers and families, we do NOT work for hospitals, birthing centers, or any other caregiver - we work for you!
- We can attend births in any Upstate South Carolina hospital, birthing center, or home the mother chooses. Our coverage area includes Greenville, Taylors, Greer, Spartanburg, Mauldin, Simpsonville, Anderson, Oconee, Greenwood, Easley, and more!
